The Lake County Community Foundation (LCCF) was started by the Lakeview Community Service Council or better known as the “OPP Shop” which gave LCCF $100,000 when they sold their property and ceased to exist as an organization. This gift allowed LCCF to be endowed and exist to be here forever to grow and award grants in Lake County, Oregon.
In 2013 the OPP Shop decided to put their assets toward creating the Lake County Community Foundation (LCCF), endowing it with $105,656.00. The LCCF board invested those funds with the Oregon Community Foundation and their assets of over $2 billion. Since that time the LCCF has awarded $32,000.00 in grants around Lake County and grown the assets of the LCCF to $130,209.00. Through the OPP Shop gift they will continue doing good things for Lake County forever. For more information on creating your own endowment or giving to LCCF, contact Don Lasley (541-417-2368) or John Effingham(541-815-4004) or any listed board member.
